The boys played again Saturday. It was a gorgeous day here, hopefully where you are as well. Evan had an early game in which his team dominated another local club. The final was 12-1 with Evan getting two goals and two assists. I unfortunately forgot the camera battery on the charger so I have no new shots to offer.
Ian's game was later and it was a much better game to watch. Ian played really well as a back during the first half. He really shut down the offense of a good opposing team and made some great passes to his strikers who had lots of shots on goal. The other team had a good keeper who kept all but one shot from finding the net. In the second half Ian was keeper but his job was tough as the other teams strikers were getting behind the defense and putting up a lot of shots on his goal. He stopped many but two scored. The Patriot offense did not have as much opportunities due to the former keeper for the other team that they moved up to back. He did a good job of shutting us down and feeding their main striker. So the Patriots lost 2-1, but it was a great competitive game.
I did go home to retrieve my battery before Ian's game. Here are some great shots of him.

Glad you are all enjoying a nice fall.
Looks like the boys are off to great seasons.
Ian's match must have been really exciting and he definitely hustles out there. I hope he isn't too disappointed about the loss. Let him know a loss once in a while makes the wins that much sweeter!
