The boys got to show of their chops at a piano recital today. The recital is the second one that their piano teacher's students have given to the residents of Fair Haven retirement community. The boys each played three songs that they have been working on and both did really well with very little in the way of mistakes. They are currently playing on an electronic keyboard but we plan to get a real piano for them soon. It will go in the office if your wondering where in the hell we are going to fit a piano into this sardine box. I really hope they keep up their interest after we get it. If not I may have to dig out the old books and play some myself. Michelle took some video but it may be a little while before I can get it posted.
Ian played Ode to Joy, Minuet in G, and Orion the Hunter
Evan played Tick-tac-Toe, the Windmill and Indians

Lots of soccer this weekend so check back. Evan had a game tonight after the recital which his team won 5-2. It was the team that they lost to last season. Evan scored the last goal and had a super game.

BUSY! You guys are on the GO!
I am quite impressed with the pieces both boys played at their recital - having dabbled in piano at one time myself.
Then on to the soccer game for Evan, the man of many talents. Good show ... actually good showS!
Thanks...as always...for sharing with us. Will check in on Sunday for the rest of the soccer results.
p.s. Where in the hell, in the office, can you fit a piano???
